I myself, being Johnny Depp fan truly enjoyed this flick. For a sequel I was thoroughly impressed, quite the cliffhanger setting the tone for #3

Opening day this flick set a new box office record of just over $55 million I beleive I heard.

I still don't understand the attraction to this movie.

The first one was okay, but nothing I'd concider "great".
I'll wait till this sequel is played on network TV.

Who knows what the fascination is? Gold, pirates, fighting, imagination, scantilly clad women? This film seems to have it all. Well, except for enough of that last item.

It's a good movie that'll entertain you for a few hours, and gets you out of the house. It's a lot cheaper than doing a lot of other things.

There's something lacking in it, and there's one part that, imo, dragged a little, but overall, it's a good movie, and well worth the money. Just make sure you go to the bathroom beforehand, cuz it runs almost 2hrs 45min.

Oh, and stay passed the credits. There's a bonus apparently (I missed it).

I didn't get to see the bonus! CRAP! I will be seeing the dvd again of course, but wow this movie was awesome. My grandma didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped though....lol
