I like having a cell phone, I just hate paying for it. lol
Anyone use Koodo? I've been looking at what they offer and it looks like a damn good deal. Very cheap rates, no system access fee, text messaging included and no fixed term contract. I didn't really look at them until I was told they use the Telus system so coverage is the same as the Telus network. www.koodomobile.com

Never heard of it, but I like my Net 10 service. 10cents per minute and NO contracts ever.

Hey G! I have bought two of them... for other people that is... LOL... and VERY much enjoy how it is working out. They have very good deals... then add on's for an extra 10 bucks! You can check out your bill every single day if you wish to (online). So far... EVERYTHING has been right on par with them and we are ALL pleased with the purchase/service.
If you have any specific question about them... just give me a call or pm!

Check out Seven Eleven's SpeakOut as well.
heads up: Egyptian company Orascom is entering Ontario in partnership with Quebecor to launch Globalive. I am not sure if it's a new network infrastructure or a new piggybacker. We have enough networks here. Probably enough piggybackers here. Koodoo is a piggybacker on Telus (surprise) and Seven-Eleven mobile (SpeakOut) is a piggybacker on Rogers. Koodoo is cutting you a good deal precisely for this reason. This kind of business strategy to be a Bell hallmark. Not sure where Orascom got its capital to compete in Canada, what he calls the only developed nation he's interested in. (Very soon a developing nation, at least in our part of the country. ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orascom_Telecom_Holding Orascom Telecom Holding is huge in the Third World. Their strength is in GSM. Do we need another Rogers here? Not sure where the Egyptians are gonna get their capital. But I was right, the credit crisis will delay their originally planned 3Q 2009 launch: http://finance.sympatico.msn.ca/inve...entid=10571976 Last time I checked, Orascom was outfitting the Yugyeong Hotel of Pyeongyang with cosmetic glass windows just so that they can operate in that white elephant of an abandoned building. I guess "capital" in North Korea probably just requires the gusto to play golf with Lil Kim. If the Egyptians are in, these guys might follow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telcel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telmex The current climate will give the squeeze a bit of a bottleneck. But who knows. Many microorganisms thrive on rock bottoms. Last edited by Tigger; 02-05-2009 at 11:35 PM. |
