For those interested in some decent hockey of the female variety, Sarnia is hosting the National Women's Championships this week. They play international rules so it's pretty quick. The only province that doesn't seem to be competitive is Alberta. The two Ontario teams beat them 13-0 and 15-0 yesterday.
There are several Team Canada players in the tournament: Botterill, Sunohara, Labonte, Hefford, Pounder. Also, Angela Ruggiero from the US National team is playing for Quebec. She may be the best defenceman in the World in women's hockey. There are games tomorrow and Saturday throughout the day. The bronze medal game is at 11:00 am on Sunday followed by the gold medal game. I suspect that the two Ontario teams and Quebec will be involved. The games are at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre at Lambton College. More info is on the Hockey Canada web site.
